Privacy policy

Short version: your models are yours, we only collect what an order needs, and we never sell anything to anyone.

This policy explains what BotWorks Additive collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to everyone who uploads a model, requests a quote or places an order.

What we collect

Uploaded models

When you upload an STL or 3MF file we store the file itself along with the geometry we derive from it: triangle count, volume, surface area, bounding box and whether the mesh is watertight. Files are stored on our own infrastructure, are not indexed, are never published, and are not shared with third parties.

Order and contact details

To fulfil an order we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. Your PIN code is sent to our courier aggregator to obtain a live shipping rate, and your full address is shared with the assigned courier so they can deliver the parcel.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment partner. Card numbers, UPI handles and bank credentials are entered on their infrastructure and are never seen by or stored on our servers. We keep only the payment reference, the amount and the payment status.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or licence your personal data.
  • We do not use your models to train anything, or reprint them for anyone else.
  • We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this site.

How long we keep things

Order records are retained for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Uploaded models are retained so that you can reorder without re-uploading; write to us and we will delete any or all of them, usually the same working day.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@bot-works.tech from the address associated with the order and we will act on it within a working week.

Cookies

We set one cookie to remember your light or dark theme preference, and one session cookie for staff signing into the admin dashboard. Neither is used for tracking.
